PMCs can assist owners to fulfil their responsibilities in building management, ensure building safety and sanitation, maintain property value, and most importantly, enable the public to live and work in harmony.” Chairperson WONG of the PMSA also emphasised, “Under the PM industry licensing regime, licensed PMCs and PMPs managing various types of properties and responsible for various aspects of PM work within the industry will uphold the three core values of “Quality”, “Integrity” and “Advancement”, driving the industry to advance towards enhanced quality and professionalism, and striving to enable the public to live and work in harmony.”
The smooth implementation of the PM industry licensing regime owes its success to the support of various stakeholders. Therefore, the PMSA presented at the ceremony certificates of appreciation to relevant Government departments, public bodies, PM industry recognised professional bodies, industry organisations, tertiary educational institutions and PMPs acting as spokespersons for advancing the PM industry as tokens of PMSA’s heartfelt gratitude.
