The Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) announces today that the Fellows and Members of 8 disciplines of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) (including “Building”, “Building Service”, “Control, Automation & Instrumentation”, “Electronics”, “Energy”, “Fire”, “Mechanical” and “Structural”) have been added to its list of Recognised Professional Bodies (RPBs) under the property management (PM) industry licensing regime. Chairperson of the PMSA Dr James WONG said, “The PMSA welcomes HKIE’s application and its successful recognition as a PMSA RPB. We look forward to working closely with the HKIE to enhance the status and professional service standard of the PM industry in Hong Kong through regulating by licensing, formulating Codes of Conduct and encouraging continuing professional development.”
